Greener at the Golf Course

FirmGreen is working with the Toshiba Classic to protect the environment during the PGA, Inc. sanctioned Champions Tour golf event that takes place March 1 - March 7, 2010 at the Newport Beach Country Club.

It's no easy task to host 80,000 golf fans without leaving a footprint! We're focusing on cleaner energy to minimize the environmental impact of the event. The tournament wil be recycling; visit the Toshiba Classic website to find out details of the 3rd Annual "Swing for the Green" electronic recycling effort.

FirmGreen will be conducting an Eco-Challenge for fun and prizes at the course this year. Look for the kiosks near the first tee, the Sports Bar, and hole 17. Complete the challenge by answering a few simple questions, and qualify for a free solar audit, plus other prizes.
Hint: take a look around the kiosk and you will see the answers!!

Newport Beach for the 2010Toshiba Classic. Visit our blog – we'll be posting updates and photos from the road!
